Dr. Shasha has been invited to speak on secondary IOL fixation at the local, national, and international stage.
Dr. Shasha has a passion and interest in the development of new surgical instruments and techniques. Dr. Shasha developed the Centralize, Tilt, and Chop technique (CTC) for the management of rotating and non-rotating hemi-nuclei, which, as of November 2023, is officially a part of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
